Interim Service
A lighter mini-service to keep things in check between full services — ideal for high-mileage drivers.
If you're racking up the miles — a long commute over to Preston or Manchester, or plenty of running around the Pendle villages — twelve months can be a long time to go without your car being looked at. That's where an interim service earns its keep.
It's a focused mini-service, designed to sit halfway between your annual full services and catch the basics: fresh oil, a clean filter and a proper look over the parts that wear. It typically includes:
- Engine oil replaced to the correct specification
- A new oil filter
- A visual inspection of suspension, steering, tyres and brakes
- A check of all fluid levels
Clean oil is the lifeblood of an engine. Left too long it turns thick and gritty and stops protecting the moving parts properly, which is when expensive wear creeps in. An interim service every six months or 6,000 miles keeps that at bay for a fraction of the cost of a repair.
