Exhausts
Exhaust checks, repairs and replacements, plus diesel particulate filter (DPF) help.
A healthy exhaust does more than keep the noise down — it carries fumes safely away, helps your engine run efficiently and keeps you on the right side of the MOT emissions test. When an exhaust starts to go, you'll usually hear it first: a low drone, a rasp, or an unmistakable blowing sound that gets louder as the hole gets bigger.
Our team checks the whole system end to end — from the manifold back to the tailpipe, including the catalytic converter and any sensors — and we'll show you what we find before recommending whether a section can be repaired or needs replacing. We never replace more than we have to.
Diesel particulate filters (DPF)
If you drive a diesel, the DPF traps the soot that would otherwise come out of the tailpipe. Lots of short, stop-start journeys around town don't let it clean itself properly, and over time it clogs — usually flagged by a warning light. Caught early, a blocked DPF can often be sorted without an eye-watering bill; left too long, it gets a lot more serious. If your DPF light is on, the sooner you call the better.
